So the difference between our wines that we get [music] compared to your conventional supermarket route is that JJ Wines get all their wines from specific vineyards across various regions in [music] Europe.
So what that means is they go through the fermentation process and they’re bottled at the actual vineyard and [music] then they’re sent to the UK directly on pallets.
When you get predominantly what they call a young wine, when [music] you open it first, there’ll be a lot of tannins in it.
So you’ll get a bit more of the harshness. But when you have [music] an investment wine, per se, and you hear the term laid down, it’s actually put in a cellar.
And the reason for that is the tannins over time they break down. [music]
So like that line of matures like a fine wine, it’s actually the old adage is really true.
Cork is [music] quite brittle. So when they lay it down, it has to be the full contact of the liquid to the cork so it doesn’t spoil.
